About Us
We Deliver Performance!
Elite Golf Performance offers the most precise golf instruction and training. With over 15 years of golf instruction and sports biomechanical education and experience, we have trained over one hundred junior players through our high school and college prep programs who have gone on to receive scholarships at universities such as Texas, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Memphis, Arkansas, ASU, Alabama and Indiana with over 20 players that went on to play various professional tours. And, we recently trained two former U.S. Open champions in golf biomechanics. Our success is a result of a four step program that allows us to train our clients like top level tour players. First, we measure physical limitations. Second, we collect biomechanical data. Thirdly, we analyze and discuss that data. And lastly, we train and condition as well as provide a custom-designed golf program. We offfer 3D motion analysis programs and training programs in all sports. Our beliefs are that "if you don't test then it's a guess" no matter the trainer or instructor. We always find the client's weakness!

What we can measure and how we measure it?
We take High speed video and digitize it so we can mark all of the joint centers of the body from feet to the top part of the spine along with the shaft and clubface so we can track it's path and speeds through the entire swing. The science behind the calculations are extremely complex, but the measurements and adjustments to it's finding make it so very simple to help golfers play to their full potential. Please note we use a launch monitor to capture some of the measurments below listed.
5 misconceptions of golf instruction
1. If you have a good swing plane you will hit the ball solid(No respect to energy transfer and speed)
2. The grip has to be perfect with light grip pressure(Can vary quite a bit)
3. Power comes from coiling in backswing or x factor stretch(gives potental energy, but does not tell what happened from transition to impact)
4. The more you spin your hips on the downswing the further you will hit it the ball(You will lose torque at the feet and also outrun your arms to impact)
5. Amount of lag at impact comes from pulling the arms as far as possible to impact.(Creates superficial lag, also creates stress at the elbow and lead shoulder usually gets people yanking down with the hands from the top)
So what are the most important fundamentals to ball striking?
1. The ability the player has to create shear force at the feet and torque at the hips are first and foremost for power and stability in swing(Power)
2. The ability the player has to turn their upper body (arms and shoulders) perpendicular to their spine during the entire swing(Loads the Core and controls swing plane)
3. The ability the player has to transfers maximum energy from hips, shoulders, arms and club from transition to impact(Coordination)
4. The ability the player has to control hands through impact to finish to determine different ball flights and launch angle(Ball Flight)
5. The players ability to create various speeds with all clubs with respect to balance(Power and finesse game)
Our teaching principles are based around how the body should move the club versus how the club should move the body. We teach you how to be more golf coordinated, how to create effortless speed and how to play the game with the least amount of strokes as possible. Our lessons and schools are not based on overloading the students with lots of ideas or mechanical thoughts but rather to help create a simple designed practice and playing routine that will guide them in one direction to reach their goals.
The difference in our academy is that we train the transition and timing of the body to fit the individual. And, we have over 20 years of PGA tour biomechanical data that proves the body has to transition or change of direction in a certain way to snap the club forward at impact, but the swing plane and shape of swing can vary between Tiger Woods, Raymond Floyd, Jim Furyk, Lee Trevino, Zack Johnson, Craig Stadler, Alan Doyle, Ernie Els, Craig Perry, Fred Couples or John Daly. The bottom line is that all of these swing are completely different but highly efficient by the laws of biomechanics. We are proud to be one of the only golf academies in the world that utilizes the same 3D biomechanics technology and knowledge that is used to train world class Olympic athletes as well as athletes training in the PGA, LPGA NFL, MLB and NHL.

We treat each client as an individual and we will work with you to ensure your swing is biomechanically sound and results-oriented, not just pretty. We do not influence a system or method on our clients. Instead, while training each client, we will custom-design a program to fit your joint and muscular limitations, so you can quickly transfer energy through your body, out to the club and through the ball. Our biomechanical engineers, sports chiropractors, physical therapists and personal trainers that we work with are the very best in their respective fields, and this provides us with the latest in cutting-edge techniques and a lower risk of injury while training their bodies for the game.
Our resources include biomedical engineer Chris Welch, founder of Zenolink. Chris has collected data over the last 20 years on the PGA tour with research through Zenolink and is known as an innovator and pioneer of golf biomechanics. Pete Dravovich is a world class physical therapist who has worked with players such as Jack Nicklaus, Nick Faldo and Greg Norman for over 20 years on the PGA tour. Dr. Greg Rose and David Phillips the founders the Titleist Performance Institute which trains and educates PGA and LPGA tour players in physical therapy, personal training. The K-Vest, a wireless biofeedback tool designed compliment zenolink data and to train golfers with biofeedback tools to increase golfers performance through better trunk stabilization and coordination patterns it was not designed to collect data or analysis due to it's limitations of 3d motion capturing. We believe all of these references listed above are world class professionals and great people, with their time and studies dedicated to truly helping golfers perform to their highest playing potential.
